While my wife was gardening, she found a large batch of lizard eggs, which we have packed in a plastic container buried in soil as they were found. We did a similar thing with the last batch and got three out of three lizard hatchlings.
I think that these eggs are from little brown lizards that we get in our garden. Ther are about 6-8mm in diameter.
